Mechanism of Action

Abirapro works by blocking an enzyme called CYP17, which is involved in the production of androgens (male hormones such as testosterone). Since prostate cancer cells often depend on these hormones for growth, reducing androgen production helps slow the progression of the disease.

Dosage and Administration

The dosage is determined by the treating physician based on the patient’s condition. Abirapro is generally taken on an empty stomach, either at least one hour before or two hours after meals.
